Pneumatic Flying Knife Cardboard Core Cutting Systems
Cut continuously moving spiral cardboard cores into exact programmed lengths without stopping or decelerating your core winding line. Our servo-driven flying cutter units ensure zero burrs and square cut ends.
How Flying Knife Synchronization Operates
The cutting carriage accelerates forward matching the exact linear exit velocity of the core tube. Once synchronized, circular blades clamp pneumatically, slice cleanly around the spinning tube, and return home in a split second.
- Clean Burr-Free Circular Slicing: Rotating disc blades slice without producing sawdust, chips, or crushed inner rims.
- Encoder Length Measurement: High-resolution rotary optical encoders ensure cut tolerances remain within ±1 mm.
- Dust-Free Operation: Slicing mechanism keeps plant air completely free from combustible cardboard dust particles.
